Polaris Introduces New 2020 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar and RANGER CREW XP 1000 NorthStar Models

New NorthStar Premium and Ultimate Trims Set the Standard for Off-Road Comfort with Enhanced Features and Industry-Leading Technology

MINNEAPOLIS (February 4, 2020)Polaris Off Road, the world leader in powersports and off-road innovation, today introduced the new 2020 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar Premium and RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar Ultimate in three- and six-seat models. Polaris has elevated its offering across the 2020 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar lineup with a host of added features and benefits, including industry-exclusive Ride Command technology and premium cab upgrades for the NorthStar Ultimate, and an integrated winch for both the NorthStar Ultimate and NorthStar Premium.

For many RANGER owners, there’s no such thing as a weather delay. Warm or cold, rain or shine, the work continues. The NorthStar Premium is factory-equipped with a cab system, heat and air conditioning to tackle the toughest jobs no matter the conditions, and a Pro HD 4,500-lb. winch now comes standard – all for a new starting price of $23,999 for the three-seat model and $26,299 for the CREW model.

The NorthStar Ultimate takes off-road comfort and convenience to the next level. It raises the bar with new, premium cab upgrades and the industry-exclusive Ride Command infotainment system. Whether using the standard backup camera to effortlessly hook up a trailer or the built-in GPS to easily navigate to a favorite hunt destination, Ride Command delivers significant value to those looking to get more done on – or off – their property.

The new NorthStar lineup offers an expanded, more premium range of options for those riders that demand the best, and it underscores Polaris’ commitment to providing industry-leading products and the highest level of value across its entire portfolio.

For its 2020 offering, Polaris also announced new exterior paint options for the 2020 RANGER CREW 1000 Premium, 2020 RZR PRO XP Premium and 2020 RZR PRO XP Ultimate.

2020 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar Premium – Starting at $23,999 U.S. MSRP

Available in three- and six-seat models, the new 2020 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar Premium is factory-equipped to fend off the elements with all-weather features riders have grown to love and demand. Standard equipment includes a fully-enclosed Pro Shield cab system with dome light, heat, air-conditioning, defrost, review mirror, windshield wiper with washer and a newly added Pro HD 4,500-lb. winch – all for a new, lower price. A dual overhead cam ProStar 1000 engine producing 82 horsepower and 2,500-lbs. of towing capacity provide the capability to make quick work of big jobs, while 13-inches of ground clearance and 11-inches of suspension travel make for an incredibly smooth ride, even on rough terrain.

The 2020 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar Ultimate comes in three- and six-seat models and includes the same factory-installed features as the NorthStar Premium. The NorthStar Ultimate upgrades this ultra-comfortable, climate-controlled experience with a Pro Shield full glass tip-out windshield and power window doors. To raise the bar even further, Polaris has added its industry-exclusive Ride Command infotainment system as standard equipment.

The seven-inch glove-touch display features built-in GPS navigation, vehicle diagnostic information, an AM/FM radio tuner and Bluetooth® smartphone connectivity. Audio is transmitted through included in-dash speakers or the optional seven-speaker MB Quart® Audio package, while front and rear-mounted cameras provide added visibility when backing up or navigating tight spaces. Additional features include industry-first plow mode which automatically engages (lifts, drops and drags) the plow based on the selected gear, making work more efficient than ever before, and the newly upgraded Group Ride feature which now lets users view the live location of other riders without the need for cellular reception.

2020 RANGER CREW 1000 Premium – Starting at $16,499 U.S. MSRP
Polaris has also brought its popular Sunset Red Metallic exterior color option to the 2020 RANGER CREW 1000 Premium. The RANGER 1000 lineup directly replaces and upgrades the legendary XP 900 lineup for 2020. Featuring significant owner-inspired improvements over the outgoing XP 900, the RANGER 1000 offers the perfect combination of price and performance. It brings added capability to haul more, tow more and last longer, while delivering more comfort and convenience than its predecessor. A single overhead cam ProStar 1000 engine produces 61 horsepower and 55 lb-ft of low-end torque to effortlessly tow up-to 2,500 lbs. Additional improvements include a rugged, full-body skid plate, an ultra-smooth Pro-PVTi clutch system and sealed bushings and bearings for a quieter ride and longer life.

Polaris has also announced a new Cruiser Black exterior color option for 2020 RZR PRO XP and PRO XP 4 Premium and Ultimate models. The Cruiser Black premium paint is paired with Indy Red accents for a sinister appearance. Featuring professional-level performance, visionary design and brute strength, the PRO XP Premium and PRO XP Ultimate models deliver the ultimate combination of power, suspension, and agility in the off-road.

Polaris RANGER Introduces the All-New RANGER 1000 and RANGER CREW 1000

Minneapolis (July 29, 2019) – Polaris RANGER, the industry’s No.1-selling utility side-by-side vehicle, today introduced the all-new RANGER 1000 and RANGER CREW 1000, purpose built for farmers, ranchers, hunters, multi-acre homeowners and recreation off-road riders. The RANGER 1000 offers the ultimate combination of price and performance with added capability to haul more, tow more and last longer than its predecessor, the RANGER XP 900, the best-selling UTV of all time.

Engineered for Work
Featuring consumer-inspired improvements, the RANGER 1000 and RANGER CREW 1000 are designed to be the ultimate workhorse capable of getting the toughest jobs done. An all-new ProStar 1000 single overhead cam engine delivers 61 horsepower and 55 lb-ft of torque. Optimized to provide more torque at lower RPMs, the newly designed engine and an all-new Pro-PVTi clutch system deliver smooth drivability at low speeds and allow users to get the most out of the class-leading 2,500-lb. towing capacity. The RANGER 1000 offers 12 inches of ground clearance and 10 inches of suspension travel to rise above obstacles and tame rugged terrain while the turning radius was improved by 8% over the RANGER XP 900, helping consumers get more work done faster. A cargo box that is rated for an industry-leading 1,000-lbs. is also one-inch deeper, increasing hauling capability by 10%, and is equipped with multiple Lock & Ride mounting locations to add key accessories.

Designed for Comfort
For added comfort to work and drive all day, the RANGER engineering team has improved the rider experience with an additional five inches of entry and exit clearance and new cut-and-sew seats with 25% more padding. The all-new, one-piece chassis is 25% more rigid than its predecessor delivering a stiffer frame and a more comfortable ride. The newly redesigned cab has an industry-leading 18.6 gallons of in-cab storage featuring a massive glovebox, a 3.4-gallon lower dash bin, driver and passenger under-seat storage and up to eight cup holders. With seamless accessory integration across RANGER Pro Shield cab system components and a pre-wired three-position Polaris Pulse electrical system under the hood, the RANGER 1000 enables consumers to ride in comfort all-day long, no matter the conditions.

Built to Last
RANGER is renowned for the longevity of its vehicles. A completely redesigned front end features a massive steel front bumper including Polaris Pro HD winch and plow integration that, in combination with a full-body skid plate, provides a total of 50% more protection from unforgiving terrain. A quick release grille panel adds to the distinct style and is integrated into the front of the RANGER 1000 for easy access to the radiator for service and cleaning, and a new high-capacity, round air filter has been conveniently located for easy access, inspection and maintenance. Longer-lasting, quieter and maintenance-free sealed suspension bushings come standard, and CV guards have been carried forward for additional A-arm protection. The new Pro-PVTi clutching system has been completely reengineered from the ground up with larger internal wear components to last longer and deliver improved drivability and control. Enhanced durability, protection and ease of maintenance make the RANGER 1000 stronger and tougher, no matter the task.

The RANGER 1000 and RANGER CREW 1000 come backed by a standard one-year limited warranty, further reinforcing the quality and durability it delivers. Available in three trim levels and a variety of colors, the 2020 RANGER 1000 and RANGER CREW 1000 have a starting U.S. MSRP of $12,999 and $14,399, respectively.

Winter Prep Package – Starting at $2,000 U.S. MSRP
Available for the RANGER 1000 and RANGER XP 1000 in both three-seat and CREW models, the Winter Prep Package is designed to extend riding through the winter season by making it easy to install cab systems and accessories for plowing. The package includes a heater kit, 900-watt charging system, Polaris Pro HD 4,500-lb. winch and a cab seal kit all installed at the factory, offering a turn-key package to customize units with a selection of RANGER Pro Shield cab system components and a Glacier Plow System.

Back Country Package – Starting at $2,800 U.S. MSRP
Built to tackle uncharted terrain, the Back Country Package is now available for the RANGER XP 1000 and RANGER CREW XP 1000 in all available Premium color options. The package includes high-mount air intakes, arched A-arms, sealed electrical components, 900-watt charging system, Polaris Pro HD 4,500-lb. winch, all-new Active Descent Control and a 20% stronger driveline. RIDE COMMAND Package – Starting at $2,500 US MSRP
Offering the same improved, connected riding experience consumers expect with Polaris RIDE COMMAND technology, the 2020 RIDE COMMAND package now comes standard with a Sport Roof with Premium Roof Liner, Polaris Pro HD 4,500-lb. winch and new RIDE COMMAND software enhancements for RANGER. The RIDE COMMAND software now features Plow Mode which automatically engages (lifts, drops and drags) the plow based on the gear the vehicle is in and Group Ride, allowing riders to stay connected with other riders. Polaris RANGER Introduces its First-Ever Texas Edition Utility Side-by-Side

Designed to be the ultimate workhorse, the 2020 RANGER XP 1000 Texas Edition offers increased performance and durability

Minneapolis (July 29, 2019) – Polaris RANGER, the industry’s No.1-selling utility side-by-side vehicle, today introduced the 2020 RANGER XP 1000 Texas Edition in both three-seat and CREW models, offering consumers in the Lone Star State even bigger and better features on the industry’s best utility side-by-side. Built on the RANGER XP 1000 platform, the vehicle offers increased performance and durability including unmatched, load-adaptive suspension, a Polaris Pro HD 4,500-lb. winch and high-performance electrical output to keep the machine going in any condition.
